A make-up cream perfect for slickbacks…
I received a sample of Amy J’s new make-up cream and have been a complete convert ever since. I never knew what to do with my ponytails or buns, and since I have more curly hair, I always struggled with a bit of frizz around my crown. It takes care of it and helps me create really nice curls without making my hair too hard. Also, it smells amazing. I used it in my hair this morning and when I was picking up my boyfriend to leave for work, he specifically commented that something smelled good on me. The best oatmeal we’ve ever had…
Most days, the thought of making my morning oatmeal literally gets me out of bed. It’s warm, comforting, filling and keeps me full until lunch. I am in a safe relationship with Quaker Original before I tried Seven Sundays, but now I have to admit that this is the best oatmeal I have ever had. It’s made with gluten-free oats, flax and chia seeds, and oat protein, but without refined sugar. The Mixed Berry flavor is my favorite because it has mixed dried berries. A new candle that is selling fast…
I bought PF Candle Co.’s Gold Coast Candles in college. I swore by it and have loved the brand ever since. I recently got hooked on the new Milky Santal candle. It reminds me of Le Labo’s Santal 33 (but it’s half the price) and it has creamy notes that make it smell a bit softer which I prefer. This candle has been a bestseller for good reason, so grab it while it’s still in stock. I know I buy backups when I can. – Margot Gertner

We’re almost into dress/shorts/swim season, so here’s my annual reminder of how great Nood is. I’ve spent years (and thousands of dollars) doing laser hair treatments at home, and for me, it works almost as well as professional services. It has six intensity levels so you can adjust depending on your pain tolerance (although I promise, it’s not as painful as you think) and it really couldn’t be easier to use. After using it about twice a week for two weeks, the hair is gone. It may regrow within a few months, but it is rare. And I love how easy it is to touch up. – Carolyn Goldstein

When spring arrived, I realized that my warm weather wardrobe was lacking. So when Bernardo offered me these two pieces from their spring collection, I didn’t hesitate to accept. I’ve always been a huge fan of Weleda, but the Skin Food Body Moisturizer is really next level. It has a subtle scent of orange and lavender, but it doesn’t compete with my other scents. I recently traveled internationally (while standing in those TSA lines) and frantically ran to Target for some last minute skincare minis. I’ve seen Byoma pop up on my feed for months, so I decided to try their milk toner. One word: wow. It’s a small square bottle that comes in a frosting and moisturizing package.
