Patients using long-term respiratory or sleep therapy are being invited to take part in a new international survey designed to improve future care.
Research is a part of An important projecta clinical research initiative endorsed by the European Respiratory Society and supported by the European Lung Foundation.
The survey asks about your experiences with treatments such as positive airway pressure (PAP) machines, noninvasive ventilation, and mechanical home ventilation. To keep things simple, all of these devices are referred to as “ventilators,” including CPAP and BiPAP machines, which are often used for sleep apnea.
The aim is to understand how these treatments are provided and monitored in different countries and to learn what is most important to patients. Your responses will help inform future international guidelines and support better, more cost-effective care.
Participation is voluntary, anonymous and takes about 15-20 minutes. The deadline for submitting your response is Saturday, February 28, 2026.
