The 2026 Pittsburgh and Jim Manion Fitness Festival, presented by Newtech, took place on May 16 and 17 and served as a great preview for the battles to come at the Olympia finals in Las Vegas. From newly qualified athletes to top contenders competing as guest stars, M&F looks at what happened in Steel City.
2026 Pittsburgh Pro Results and Events
Michal Kryzanek won the Olympic prize in the Open Division
Kryzanek was seconded by Tonio Burton New York Pro soonbut the positions were reversed in Pennsylvania. Slovak finished first, while Burton finished second. “See you at Olympia,” the big man wrote via Instagram, sharing his immediate thoughts. “Now is the time to take a break, have a beer, eat a steak and relax.”

Of course, to win his first Mr. Olympia title, Kryzanek will have to beat 2024 Olympian Samson Dauda, 2025 Olympian Derek Lunsford and 2025 third-place finisher Andrew Jacked in Sin City. All three men took the stage as guests in Pittsburgh and provided an epic preview of each man’s current fitness status.
Criso last entered the Mr. Olympia finals in 2023, finishing seventh. Three years is a long time in bodybuilding, so it will be interesting to see where the judges rate him during the show in Las Vegas.
