Remedy Doircle Dark Reducing Advanced Eye Cream. I don’t think I’ve ever noticed results from an eye cream so quickly. I accidentally used this one morning between meetings. When I turned my camera back on, I noticed that my eye bags had shrunk and my dark circles had brightened. Since I tend to get ready in a hurry (and because I don’t like to have too many steps in the process), I appreciated that it absorbed quickly so I didn’t have to wait before moving on to makeup and starting the day. The doe-foot plastic applicator also made it easy to use with one hand. The tube is very small – and I will be using it every day, morning and night – so I feel like I need to restock soon. ($18)

Dr. Althea Retinol Flat Iron Eye Roller. The built-in massage roller might be my new favorite type of applicator. His hand is cold, soothing under my eyes and making me feel relaxed. Squeezing the tube sends the serum directly into the roller for easy application. However, I had to use my fingers to apply the cream. I have been using it morning and night for about a week and overall my skin has improved. But I didn’t get the quick, unobtrusive, illuminating effects I was hoping for. I’m not sure if I’ll be adding this to my daily routine, but the rolling applicator alone is half the fun – it’s so good. ($23)

Remedy Doircle Dark Reducing Advanced Eye Cream. I used this morning and night, loving the immediate calming and detoxifying effects (I suspect this was a result of the caffeine in the formula). I couldn’t believe my luck getting it right on the first try – until I started getting little bumps under my eyes and realized it contained niacinamide, which breaks out my reactive skin. If your skin can tolerate niacinamide, I recommend this eye cream a thousand times over; it brightened my dark circles almost instantly. ($18)

Dr. Althea Retinol Flat Iron Eye Roller. I would pay over $23 for this metal applicator alone. While some eye creams need to be refrigerated to cool, this metal roller feels cool without any extra help. It felt so good under my eyes that I looked forward to using it morning and night. Plus, after a night of rom-com-induced tears, I used it and woke up with no swelling. Even though it contains retinol and bacuchiol, I never had any irritation or stinging, and the hyaluronic acid plumped and smoothed so my concealer applied like a dream. This is the one I’ll keep, especially for the price. ($23)
