Adam Sherr rose to fame as Braun Strowman in WWE, but away from the ring, the “Monster Among Men” loved life at the dinner table, eating everything on the USA Network menu. M&F caught up with the former champion and world heavyweight champion to find out why his show is different from other nutrition programs and why training is as important as ever.
To millions of pro wrestling fans around the world, Braun Strowman is the 6’8″ man who eliminated 13 men to win the 2018 “Greatest Royal” and Bill Goldberg won the 2020 WWE Universal Championship. But after stepping away from the squared circle in 2025, the gentle giant has shown a softer side, taking time out to enjoy local restaurants as he travels the US to indulge his taste buds.
And, while his television show is called Everything on the menu it’s not all the eating style you might expect. Instead, each episode takes the time to savor each innovative dish. “The whole idea of the show, it’s not like an eating contest,” Strowman says M&F. “You go out to eat and you see all these beautiful dishes and you say, ‘I can’t decide what to eat!’ Well, I can’t either, but I’m happy that I can order everything on the menu!”
Why Everything on the Menu is more than just another food show
There’s no doubt that once a successful person became a WWE Superstar, Strowman was able to use his fire to fuel his ambitions. At 42, Brown appreciates the fruits of her labor and showed her emotional side during our chat, shedding a few tears as she recounted the good fortune that led her to share her love of food. “I didn’t study culinary arts,” he says. “I didn’t go to school for it. I was just blessed, you know, that my time with WWE and larger than life was meant to be.”
Strowman says that as a performer with WWE, the act of sharing this love of food is all about putting smiles on people’s faces. “You take a hit in life, and I understand that because I food preparation all the time,” explains the mountain man. “I eat 6-7 grams of stuff a day and it’s normal, but it’s my lifestyle and I love it, so this is the ultimate cheat meal show.”
Braun Strowman shares the best cheat meals and restaurants in America
From established gems to new and high-end spots, Strowman is always excited to push himself and others out of his culinary comfort zone. “One meal that really opened my eyes was at a place in Tampa Edison: Food + Beverage Lab“, reveals the legendary wrestler, explaining that his father disgusting green peasHe inherited the same distain for them. “And I’m not a giant mutt with all the red meat I consume, which is crazy.”
Even so, Strowman sat down at a table in Tampa in Season 1 and put that notion aside, savoring a lamb shank finished with a spicy chickpea sauce, no less. “And it blew my mind,” Strowman says. “Pardon my French!”
How Braun Strowman uses nutrition, fitness and connection to inspire fans
While the first season Everything on the menu ranked as the #1 show across cable entertainment shows in the 18-49 demographic, Season 2 promises to go bigger and team Strowman with celebrities like Burt Kreischer and athletes like NFL Super Bowl champion Landon Dickerson. But Strowman tells M&F why he’s so grateful for the hospitality industry. “I had a job when I was 12,” the WWE icon explains. “I was washing dishes and frying fish in a restaurant because I didn’t have the luxuries that a lot of people do. It’s amazing to be able to tell this story now.”
Strowman is willing to point young people in the right direction as they deal with their problems, noting that he himself went down the wrong path as a youth. “I did a bunch of stupid things,” he said of being on the wrong side of the law. Fortunately, there were key people in his life and they introduced him to the gym. “You know, weights never lie to you. When you’re having a good day, they tell you because they let you take them. When you have a bad day, they tell you because they don’t let you take them. But they’re always right,” says Hochi Mirza Among Men. “It’s probably the only thing I’ve ever had in my entire life.”
The giant, who lost a close friend to suicide, says he has no time for those who say men shouldn’t show emotions. “People need to hear and write about these things,” says the talented grappler. “It’s something that people don’t talk about enough. I’m the softest person on earth… I have no problem sharing that with the whole world because maybe my message will take one person’s mind off what’s going on and drive them crazy.”
Strowman says that for him, sitting around a table is more than the food you eat. This is an opportunity to connect and share experiences. The former WWE Champion says his formative years in pro wrestling revolved around the food court, backstage. “Dating with the Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Mark Henry, all my parental figures in wrestling. Those were my grandfathers and fathers and uncles and all my wrestling stuff, and they taught me a lot,” he says.

Braun Strowman reveals the massive 7,300-calorie diet that fueled his body
Regarding his current fitness journey, Strowman says M&F that he is on a “cutting phase” while eating an incredible 7,300 calories a day. This daily intake consists of five pounds of chicken, beef, rice, a whole package of spinach, two containers of cottage cheese, a dozen eggs, Greek yogurt, six tablespoons of olive oil, and two protein shakes. “I know there’s more, but it’s a lot,” she explains, revealing that she’s blasting through mental and physical plateaus by “hugging the milk.”
Of course, being Braun Strowman isn’t bad. The massive figure suggests he’s still toying with the idea of entering competitive bodybuilding and isn’t ruling out a return to the pro wrestling ring. “I’m in as good or better shape than I’ve ever been in wrestling,” he says. “I’m really focused on the nerve damage in my left leg. I still have 15% atrophy in that leg, but I’m working around that and trying to strengthen some of the other stabilizing muscles.”
Strowman says his love of food also contributed to his ability to recover. “I thought deli meat was good protein in my 20s,” he said. “But what you put in is what you get out of it,” he realizes now, sharing that he now chooses organic meat and experiences less inflammation as a result. “I’ll use a perfect example,” says Strowman. “There’s a restaurant in Orlando that’s been near and dear to my heart since I moved here to start wrestling. Called King Beefy. They use local bread. They have been using the same beef from the same Nebraska farm for the past 40 years. The only thing they put on it after it’s done is salt. And it’s the best beef sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life! “
Braun Strowman is still winning. A glorious bite.
“Everything on the Menu” returns for Season 2 on USA Network on June 5, 2026.
