Who can forget this horrifying image of a nurse returning from Africa treating Ebola patients when then-governor Chris Christie forced her to be locked up like an animal in a cage for 21 days?

Dr. Cyril Broderick, a Liberian scientist and professor, wrote an editorial in 2014 about the African perspective on Ebola, and it is probably as true today as it was 12 years ago when we published it.

3. AFRICAN AND WEST AFRICA SITES HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED OVER THE YEARS TO TEST FOR EMERGING DISEASES, ESPECIALLY EBOLA.

4. THE NEED FOR LEGAL MEASURES TO ALLOCATE THE DAMAGES WHICH ARE PROVIDED FOR THE PROCEEDING OF JUSTICE IN THE DEATH, INJURY AND TRAUMA CAUSED BY LIBERIANS AND OTHER AFRICANS AND OTHER AFRICANS.

5. AFRICAN LEADERS AND AFRICAN COUNTRIES MUST TAKE THE LEADERSHIP IN PROTECTING CHILDREN, CHILDREN, AFRICAN WOMEN, AFRICAN MEN AND THE ELDERLY. THESE CITIZENS DO NOT DESERVE THE RIGHTS OF GUINEA!
