We all know the feeling of waking up from a late night sleep. We suddenly realize, often to our relief, that the dream is vivid – the images, thoughts and feelings that in the dream state were clearly real.
it is falsely seen in our waking state. The dream, we discover, was just a myth created by our creative imagination, an illusion, not a fact.

However, when we pass into a state of wakefulness, which is unknown to us at the time, we move seamlessly from one state of sleep, state of sleep, to another state of sleep. This is a rare person
actually experiencing ordinary wakefulness as another expression of our creative imagination, daytime sleep.

In daytime sleep, we dream of a personal “I”. We dream of an independent and autonomous person identified with our name, who is connected to, operates and navigates the world of his dreams. The dream of a personal “I” is a habit
it is cultivated and strengthened during a lifetime. It seems that sleeping at night is very real, but it is not.

Like a dream at night, the personal “I” is unfounded, a mental creation. If you’re looking for personal identity, it can’t be found anywhere else except through psychic experience. It has no shape, form, weight, location, color
or other material characteristics. As soon as you try to download it, it disappears. There is no part of the mind or body that can be defined as a personal entity, as an independent independent entity.

The content of daydreams—personal desires, personalities, actions, passions, worlds of people, places, and things—seem real and true, just as a night dream becomes real. When one is caught up in a day dream, then the dreamer cannot see beyond the night dream. For every dream is true, dream is reality. To see beyond that false but very convincing appearance, one must first wake up.

Our physiology wakes us up at night and allows us to see its imaginative nature every morning. Similarly, in everyday life we ​​are given moments of awakening that offer glimpses of what lies beyond.
daydream These views occur in what we might call “gaps” in our waking consciousness. We have to be a little careful to catch them. Here are some of the experiences that offer their views: immersion in nature, the charm of dance or music, intimate experiences, selfless service, art and beauty. And there are many more.

What is common to all these experiences is the momentary disappearance of our own identity, the essence of daydreaming. The moment we forget our identity and the daydream dissolves reveals it
the truth of who we are and always have been. What remains when the daydream breaks down is awareness and simple momentary experience—no explanation, no conceptualization, no judgment, no identity, no memory—just what is.

For a moment, you are a dancer and a dancer, a musician and a musician, a viewer and a beauty, a lover and a lover, self-awareness, unity. There is no more separation. No connection. Do you remember a moment when you felt the simplicity of wholeness, connection, natural harmony and flow? In that brief moment you went beyond daydreaming and let go and felt the vastness of existence. And that’s you!

It’s a look at self-awareness, a reminder of the essence of who we are. But it is transitory, what is called a state, not a stage of development. A state is a short, temporary experience of a larger experience
consciousness The stage of development is an irreversible and stable experience of that level of consciousness.

Our habitual desire for a personal self takes us away from a taste of our true self, the experience of the state, and it is mistaken for a sweet dream, a pleasant respite from
anxieties, worries and stories dreamed by the person himself. We may have experienced our original essence, but we have lost its meaning.

We can sustain these eyes, this awakening, through formal meditation sessions augmented by small practices throughout the day. We have previously discussed elements of daily formal practice that include elements of small condensation practice. You can adapt these practices to a simple method of awakening, self-awareness, during daily activities. Here it is:

1. Pause in between your daily activities.
2. Take a deep breath, empty your mind into the exhaled breath
by holding the breath. Live in long-lasting peace. Repeat 3-5 times.
3. Return to normal breathing.
4. Fall into a simple natural state of presence and awareness.
5. If mental activity occurs, Observe It. Don’t mess with it.
Continue self-awareness for 3-5 minutes.
6. Return to your activity.

I recommend trying this several times a day. Notice each time how you drift away from the cacophony of daytime sleep, how you wake up a bigger, calmer person. Then you can go back to it
daydream to know it is a daydream, making it the healthiest and best daydream, while being connected to a deeper and wider reality. You are not a daydream. You know you’re in it, but you’re not of it.

Practicing self-awareness during formal meditation and daily activities stabilizes the waking state. It becomes easier to fit in and your natural self gradually replaces your personal self as you
the basis on which the dream of the day and its drama play out. The temporary experience of the state becomes a stable stage of development.

It changes our “energy”. Sleep, night or day, requires a lot of energy. They get tired. They deprive us of the outstanding evening rest and the enjoyment of a full energetic day. Exhaustion of continuous mental activity manifests itself as fatigue, irritability, anxiety, stress, etc. We all know this experience, this fatigue. Peaceful and calm thinking, which is our true nature, does not deplete energy. It makes it possible to use it in productive and joyful ways that promote life and life. And it is much more enjoyable than the fatigue of the dream state, which settles as reality.

The final awakening involves psychological, physiological and spiritual. It is a complete treatment of mind, body and spirit. Psychology as its basis, past experience is healed and dissolved in present awareness. Our physiology follows the ancient dictum – healthy mind, healthy body. Physical harmony comes after mental harmony. And the soul is revealed as it always has been – the center of our being and the elixir of healing.

What greater gift can there be than to be freed from the suffering of limited understanding and imagination. What greater gift is there than waking up from a world of broken dreams and dreams to another world
peace, wholeness and freedom that we already are and always have been. What greater gift could there be than to stop you from falling asleep and waking up.
