Think of our health care system as an old car on the side of the road. The lid is up. Smoke comes out. Families are stuck indoors and watching the bills pile up. Politicians stand around the car arguing and airing reports, but the one who actually fixed the engines won’t touch the tools. Meanwhile, you pay a huge insurance premium every month and still worry that a major illness could wipe you out.

It shouldn’t be like this. I have spent over 25 years in the health insurance industry and have helped over twenty thousand people deal with horrible medical claims, denials and bills. I saw how brutal the system could be, but how fixable it was.
We can create a health plan with no monthly fees for basic health care without raising your tax rate and protecting your freedom to choose your doctors. This is the plan I call it AmeriCare, will work for you and your family:
1. Use the money we already spend
Every year, America spends more than $5 trillion on health care, more than 50% more than any other country. You feel it in your wages; employers feel it in increased costs. Currently, this money is scattered among premiums, high deductions, hidden tax breaks and confusing subsidies.
AmeriCare This collects dollars into a clear system. Instead of sending thousands to an insurance company as a bonus, that money will fund a major national scheme. We don’t need to raise the tax rate; we need to waste money and organize it around you, not corporate profits.
To see exactly how we fund this without paying you taxes, see how the math adds up:
Search for trillions
| Source | Estimated annual savings/income |
| Exemption stage of tax from the employer | 400 billion dollars |
| Administrative efficiency | 400 billion dollars |
| National Drug Negotiations / Service | 250 billion dollars |
| Combining Medicaid and ACA subsidies | 700 billion dollars |
| Digital Payments and AI Fraud Reduction | 150-200 billion dollars |
| Smart bills and reduce overuse | 100 billion dollars |
| TOTAL RECEIVED | ~$2.0 trillion per year |
2. Monthly premium for basic medical care
Under AmeriCareYour monthly premium for basic medical coverage will be reduced to zero. This basic plan covers the big things: doctor visits, emergency care, hospital stays, mental health and prescription drugs. If you want additional benefits or luxury options, you can still purchase the private plan above. But there is always a safety net. You no longer have to choose between paying your premium and paying your rent.
3. Keep your doctor and your freedom
Most Americans do not want a unified state plan. AmeriCare is a hybrid system. If you have employer coverage, you can keep it. If you want an additional private plan, you can still buy it. In AmeriCare work the base plan underneath and make sure no one falls through the cracks. It respects both the republican values of choice and the democratic values of universal inclusion.
4. Cut out waste, red tape and fraud
The vast sums of health care never reach the doctor or the patient; they get lost in bloated paperwork and overpriced drugs. AmeriCare is attacking this headline with a clear set of regulations, digital payments and national bargaining power to drive down drug prices. Using the efficiency listed in the table, we finance the “no premium” model without hitting your salary.
5. Simple and fair expenses when you need care
Today, you can pay $2,000 a month for a family plan and still face huge deductibles. Under AmeriCareThe rules are simple:
- Doctor’s visit: 20 USD.
- Generic drugs: $0.
- Brand name drugs: $30.
- Emergency room: $150.
- Hospital stay: $500 annual minimum.
You move from fear and guesswork to clear and predictable numbers.
Equality of Wealth with Choice: A New Deal Between Billionaires and the People
In order to sustain this system without increasing taxes on the working class, we need to address a strict truth: now in our country, about a thousand people have more wealth than tens of millions of working families. This is not an attack on success; this is a call for a new agreement between our billionaires and the American people.
Our billionaires already have incredible power to shape markets. With a fair and equitable share of non-profit investment and security, they can help ensure that no child goes hungry and every family sees a doctor.
Under this plan, billionaires allocate a small percentage of their wealth each year to approved non-profit and community foundations. The key is choice and control. Instead of sending more money into a government system they don’t trust, they can see exactly where their contributions are going. They can choose from a menu of approved vehicles such as:
- Children’s hospitals and public polyclinics.
- AmeriCare health funds.
- Scholarship programs and addiction treatment centers.
- Initiatives to provide housing and food.
Their necessary share in the black hole of Washington does not disappear. It goes to real institutions that bear their name and reflect their values. Imagine that a billionaire who loves science contributes to a network of free medical clinics that preserves the name of his family for generations.
This program also keeps our wealth creators at home. When we punish success with unpredictable taxes, people move their money to tax havens. But when we say, “We respect what you’ve built, and ask that a predictable small contribution go directly to uplifting your fellow citizens in the way you choose,” we give them a reason to stay and feel proud.
The compelling contribution of nonprofit investment and security tells everyday Americans: You matter. To billionaires, it says: Your legacy can last forever in the lives you save. No portrait in a palace can match the honor of a hospital wing or a national health program that exists because one person chose to stand with the people.
Putting the right people in the ground
When your car breaks down, you don’t want a committee of people who have never held a key; you want a mechanic. Our health care system is a broken machine. For a very long time, people who had never worked inside the system were “fixing” it.
I’ve lived this system from the inside – dealing with claims departments and helping families avoid bills that are larger than their annual income. Those years taught me that our current system is cruel, but also reformable.
AmeriCare is about common sense: no monthly premiums, no tax increases for the working class, real health care debt protection, and partnering with our nation’s most successful people to finance a brighter future.
You hold the keys to this change. Challenge every politician with one question: ‘Would you eliminate monthly premiums without raising taxes?’ If the answer is nothing but yes, keep pushing – because the plan is ready, the math adds up, and with your support, I’m ready to step under the hood and finally fix this system.
