Jay Cutler vs. Big Ramy: Who Had the Better Physique? Bodybuilding myths compared

In episode 295 threat podcast, host Dennis James, along with his regular panelists Milos Sarcev and Jose Raymond, pitted two bodybuilding icons against each other and debated who was the best. Jay Cutler or Big Ramy?

Big Ramy, the Egyptian bodybuilder, which is his real name Mamdouh Elsbiai is from Egyptby winning the event IFBB Amateur Mr. Olympia in 2012, the muscle business took place. The following year, he appeared in the finals of the Mr. Olympia, bettering his eighth-place debut and winning back-to-back wins in 2020 and 2021.

Jay Cutler is a four-time Mr. Olympiawho won Sandow in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010, but by the time the two behemoths clashed in the 2013 final, it was past its prime. However, The Quad Stomper finished sixth, while the upcoming Rami took eighth.

With his formidable size and thick frames, observers often debated who, overall, was the best bodybuilder of his time. And, in the latest edition threat podcast, the conversation continued.

Jay Cutler vs. Big Ramy: A comparison of size, conditioning, and symmetry

Speaking of Cutler’s win over Ramy in 2013, Jose Raymond said the Quad Stomper was “gifted with that spot” and noted that the Egyptian was “significantly bigger and in better shape” on stage. James agreed, saying Remy made Cutler “bad in a lot of poses.”

So can Jay Cutler beat Big Ramy’s peak? Probably not, argued Dennis James. “Those two were the biggest bodybuilders I’ve ever seen,” the host said. “But the most impressive to me was Remy. Just because of the width, then the waist, then the f***ing flare in the quads.” James went on to say that Ramy Big was so twisted in his heyday that he looked like a “cartoon character.”
