Shimshon Dauda made his intentions clear when he went to work winning the second Mr. Olympic title. The British bodybuilder plans to bring his biggest and best physique to Las Vegas. To that end, the 2024 Cup winner shared a brutal arm workout designed to seriously tire out his arms.
Dauda is obviously delighted as he is set to share the stage with reigning champion Derek Lunsford, Hody Coupan and Andrew Jacked for eight weeks. “I couldn’t be happier than this moment in my life,” the big man said in the audio track that accompanied his epic arm workout. So, if you’re also in the mood for a brutal, bone-in-your-sleeve workout, here’s the full session.

Inside Samson Dauda’s Olympia training
With the opportunity to become two-time Mr. Olympia in his mind, Dauda did not come to this session for half the event. Instead, Man Mountain got heavy and chased failure for maximal hypertrophy. Dauda alternately hit his biceps and triceps to fully exhaust his arms. To try this for yourself, do 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 12 repetitions.
Starting with cable triceps pressThe “Lion of Nigeria” put some tension on the side of his triceps before moving on to traditional biceps curls. He then returned to the triceps with seated presses and further taxed the muscles while using the machine for added stability.
Dumbbell hammer curls Next come the usual bicep curls to target the arms as well. Hammer curls are a great option for building any arm workout because they engage more muscle groups than traditional curls and also lead to the development of thicker arms.
Triceps extension were next, using a slight angle of 25 to 35 degrees to increase the range of motion and the ability to find the depth length. To finish, Dauda dialed in one-arm cable concentration and used slow, controlled repetitions to complete the exercise. Concentration curls focus on isolating the bicep so that you can focus on the top of the movement. They are more difficult than normal curls, so wait for the weight to drop to make the right shape.
Whether or not Samson Dauda can find his way to the top of the bodybuilding industry remains a work in progress, but with sweat-filled sessions like these, those who underestimate him would be foolish.
