The 2026 New York Pro featured a packed stage on May 8th and 9th, with the Marriott in Glenpointe, New York, hosting serious muscle masters. Here are the full results.
Competitors from nine divisions gave it their all as they qualified for the Olympia Finals in September at the NY Pro. In the Open division, a new winner has been assured for the first time since 2024 as Nick Walker, who has won consecutively for the past two years, has decided to sit out the award.
Open Division Winner: Tonio Burton
Tonio Burton returned to the New York Pro after winning his first prize in 2023, ahead of Nick Walker’s side wins. For a brilliant return to form, Burton beat a competitive line-up that included Michael Kryzanek in second and Rafael Brandao in third. The judges felt that in the end, Burton’s bet made him king.
Burton later commented in an interview after the win RX muscles He was 10 kilos heavier than the last time he appeared on the stage, but he spent enough calories during the preparation. “It worked for us,” concluded the bodybuilder after following his trainers’ plan to get carbs from most of his meals. Surely this victory meal must be something very important.
