A US military plane has been spotted in central California, prompting the FBI to warn of a possible Iranian attack in California

Over the past few days, a US military “doomsday plane” has been spotted in Central California, around Fresno. Meanwhile, the FBI warned California police departments in recent days that Iran could respond to US attacks by launching drones in the West Bank.

Doomsday jet spotted flying low over California again – as Iran tensions flare

The dreaded “Doomsday” plane flies over California – for the second time in two months.

The giant Boeing E-6B Mercury, which is the centerpiece of the president’s emergency operations in the event of a nuclear war, washed up on the beach in Fresno over the weekend.

Airport officials said it was approaching the site and spent two hours making a mock landing, leaving onlookers stunned.

The aircraft serves as a nuclear surveillance platform and strategic command post. If the plane were to fulfill its mission, the US could go to nuclear war.

The platform can control bombers, missiles and ballistic submarines. It can stay in the air for up to 12 hours without fuel and is able to refuel mid-flight to extend missions even longer.

It is designed to maintain global communications and, even if the ground command centers are inactive, essentially functions as a Pentagon in the sky.

FBI Warns Iran Plans to Attack California with Drones in Retaliation for War: Alert

According to an alert reviewed by ABC News, the FBI warned California police departments in recent days that Iran could respond to U.S. attacks by launching drones in the West Coast.

“We recently received information that in early February 2026, Iran allegedly planned to launch a surprise attack using a drone from an unknown ship off the coast of the United States, specifically against unknown targets in California, in the event of a US attack against Iran.,” according to a notice issued in late February.

“We have no further information on the timing, method, target or perpetrators of this potential attack.”

The fact that this recent Doomsday plane sighting near Fresno, in California’s central valley at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, makes sense because any potential attack by Iran or anyone else would likely target California’s massive military bases up and down the Pacific coast, from San Diego to San Francisco.

Fresno, located far from the coast and next to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, would likely be an immediate destination for such an aircraft.

For example, the base at Port Hueneme, near Oxnard in Ventura County north of LA, is said to have nuclear missiles that can be launched from underwater.

If the war goes badly for the US and Israel, and if Israel callsVersion of Samson” and uses nuclear bombs to strike first, my guess is that military bases on the west coast of California will be Iran’s immediate targets.
