The official line-up for the 2026 Arnold UK Classic has been announced for Open Bodybuilding superstars like recent US Arnold Classic winners Andrew Jacked and 2022 champion Brandon Curry, along with top contenders like Martin Fitzwater and Mohamed Foda. But a fresh face is in store for Birmingham as British bodybuilder Abu Konate is the only homegrown talent on the boards in the Open category this year.
Who is Abu Konate?
Konate, who grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, was born in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, before becoming a British citizen and training since the age of 12. documenting both his physical transformation and bodybuilding progress more than ten years on YouTube.

Konate won his first tournament in 2015, at the age of 16, and since then has achieved various prestigious victories.
