ASN President Naima Mustaid-Moussa, PhD, DFASN, FTOS, FAHA, FNAI and ASN Executive Director John E. Courtney, Ph.D., recently represented the Society on a trip to Morocco, meeting with students, faculty, and research leaders at several academic and research institutions.

A highlight of the visit was the signing of an innovative strategic alliance between ASN and Société Marocaine de Nutrition, Santé et Environnement (SMNSE), also known as the Moroccan Society for Nutrition, Health and Environment, to develop international cooperation in the field of food science. During the trip, they participated in professional forums and panel discussions, and Dr. Mustaid-Moussa delivered a single health lecture, all of which underscored ASN’s commitment to global engagement, education, and research collaboration.
