Did Trump betray the Persian Gulf countries? Europe is in a state of panic due to Iran’s explosion at the largest LNG plant in Qatar

Iran followed through on its threat to begin bombing oil refineries in the rich Persian Gulf countries last night after the bombing of the South Persian gas field in Iran.

Iran bombed Ras Laffan, the world’s largest natural gas plant in Qatar, as well as other energy sites in the Persian Gulf.

From Daily Mail:

Gulf states scramble to shoot down Iran’s missiles after Tehran blew up oil and gas plants, causing “extreme damage” to the world’s largest refinery in Qatar and sending crude prices soaring

Missiles have inflicted “extensive damage” on Qatar, hours after Iran launched a “total economic war” by attacking energy facilities in the Middle East.

The video showed huge explosions in Ras Laffan – the largest natural gas plant in the world, as well as the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

Energy sites in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar were evacuated after Tehran warned they would be hit “in the coming hours”.

The authorities of Abu Dhabi suspended the activity in two of its sites, the Habshan gas facility and the Bab oil field, after dealing with the falling debris as a result of the successful interception of the missile.

The price of Brent oil rose by more than five percent this afternoon and reached more than 109 dollars.

“These centers have become direct and legitimate targets and will be targeted in the coming hours,” the Islamic Republic warned.

This was the headline news in Europe today, as Europe imports most of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Qatar.

I personally spoke today with a friend of mine in Italy and he said that Italians are in a state of panic about the cost of electricity and that the actions of Trump and Israel are now uniting all Italian political parties together against Trump, including their prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, who was a strong supporter of Trump not long ago.

In the US, Reuters reports that the attack wiped out 17% of Qatar’s LNG capacity for up to five years.

This is it GREAT NEWSespecially in Europe.

Exclusion: Iran attacks will wipe out 17% of Qatar’s LNG capacity for up to five years, says QatarEnergy CEO

DUBAI/DOHA, March 19 (Reuters) – Iranian strikes have knocked out 17 percent of Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) export capacity, costing it about $20 billion in annual revenue and threatening shipments to Europe and Asia, QatarEnergy’s director general and Reuters states.

Saad al-Kaabi said two of Qatar’s 14 LNG trains and one of two gas-to-liquids (GTL) facilities were damaged in the unprecedented strikes. He said in an interview that the renovation will release 12.8 million tons of LNG per year over three to five years.

I never in my wildest dreams thought that Qatar – Qatar and the region – would be attacked like this, especially by a Muslim brother country during the month of Ramadan.Kaabi said.

A few hours earlier, Iran launched a series of attacks on oil and gas facilities in the Persian Gulf following Israeli attacks on its gas infrastructure.

Kaabi said that the state-owned company QatarEnergy should declare force majeure on long-term contracts of up to five years for the delivery of LNG gas to Italy, Belgium, South Korea and China due to two damaged trains.

I mean, these are long-term contracts that we have to declare force majeure. We already announced it, but it was for a shorter period of time. Now what is the period“, he said.

The American financial publication Bloomberg reported today that after the attack on the LNG plant in Qatar, orders are now coming to the United States to replace these losses.

After the shutdown of the Qatar LNG plant, more buyers are turning to American suppliers

A growing number of liquefied natural gas buyers and importers seeking supplies of liquefied natural gas turned to the U.S. on Thursday after the latest attack on Qatar’s massive LNG complex further disrupted global fuel supplies.

Companies looking to import LNG have approached U.S. fuel retailers directly — either producers or sellers with long-term contracts, according to people familiar with the matter. The vendors will have products designed for existing and under-construction projects, said the people, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the information is not public.

The US is the world’s largest exporter of LNG and plans to expand further with several facilities planned or currently under construction. Discussions on potential US LNG supplies remain at an early stage, and the terms of any long-term contracts will take time to negotiate.

Shares of several US LNG producers rose on Thursday.

The Iran war and the shutdown of the Qatar plant have pushed up gas prices in Europe and Asia, although prices have risen slightly in the US as existing LNG plants are operating at or near capacity and amid heavy shale production.

Wasn’t that the plan all along? Let Iran bomb the oil-rich Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, who are all switching from gasoline dollars to yuan yuan, and then force the Europeans to buy their energy from the US at a premium.

This is the same strategy/philosophy a few years ago, when the US destroyed the Nord Stream pipeline, which transported Russian oil to Europe. See:

The United States is guilty of terrorism by blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline

Trump recently said he was “surprised” that Iran would attack its oil-rich Sunni neighbors in this war. Think about that for a minute. If this was indeed a miscalculation, why would you openly admit it and favor your “enemy”?

The most likely reason Trump said these words in public was to blame Iran and deflect the blame for leaving the Gulf states defenseless to defend themselves, as part of an overall plan to increase American energy dominance, which explains why they forced Maduro out of Venezuela to secure more American oil.

Warren Buffett was apparently part of this plan, just before he retired.

MarketWatch:

If you need any further proof of the wisdom of keeping some energy stocks in your 401(k) and other retirement accounts, look no further than Berkshire Hathaway.

The megaconglomerate, which Warren Buffett led until his retirement, quickly gained $2 billion thanks to the Iran conflict.

And while that’s tiny compared to the size of the company as a whole — Berkshire’s net income was $67 billion last year — it’s not insignificant.

Perhaps most importantly, it can reduce the overall risk of a company’s investment portfolio.

One area where Trump’s Zionist team may have miscalculated was how strong Iran is, even with many of its top leaders dead, to close the Strait of Hormuz. Perhaps they miscalculated that they could control this and control Iran’s oil.

But I seriously doubt that China will allow this. They reportedly provide military intelligence to Iran through their satellite system, which bypasses Starlink, Google and other US technology companies.

However this war turns out, the wealthy Gulf states will be among the biggest losers, as not only will it take years to rebuild their energy infrastructure, but their Big Tech AI investments will also go up in smoke without the energy to run their data centers.

These wealthy Arab Gulf states are, after all, part of the Epstein Syndicate. See:
