Dylan Scott and Alyssa McElheny became the 2026 HYROX World Champions in Stockholm


The HYROX Elite 15 World Championships held in Stockholm, Sweden saw two new champions, Dylan Scott and Alyssa McElheny, both athletes from the USA, win their respective categories on June 18, 2026.

Dylan Scott took the course with one He reached the official finish line in 53 minutes and 47 secondswhile Belgium’s Louis Osselaer finished second in 54 minutes and 2 seconds, just ahead of Germany’s Tim Wenisch who took the third place with 54 minutes and 4 seconds.

The course itself consisted of a ski-to-ski race, followed by running between sled pushes, sled pulls, burpee broad jumps, rowing machines, farmer’s lifts, sandbags, and wall balls. And those wall balls would be crucial as Venish was set to take first place in the final test, but was pipped in the post by Scott, who overtook the 2025 champion and moved his position from third to first in 2025. “I was penalized early on with the sled, but I never gave up in this race, that consistent effort, no matter where it gets me, is what we need to apply.” Scott explained his surprising victory. “It gave me a two-second lead in the race, and they were the most important two seconds.”

Alyssa McElhaney dominates the HYROX Elite 15 Women’s Final

Alyssa McElhaney took the same route and took the lead as she towed the sled and never looked back, ahead of Australia’s Joanna Vietrzyk and Make your way through the remaining events with a time of 56 minutes and 59 seconds – compared to Vietrzyk 57:14. Sinead Bent from England took the third place with a score of 57:24.
