What I tested…

  • Flewd Cramp Deleting Soak ($10.95)

Why did I test…

How I Tested…

I used this water twice in two months (during my two periods). I noted ease of use, pain relief, odor and cleaning.

Test results…

  • Ease of use. I never know how much to soak in the tub, so the disposable bags came in very handy. All I had to do was open it and pour a bag of bath salts into the full tub. I appreciated that I didn’t have to let it melt for long to get it wet before jumping. The instructions recommend soaking for at least 15 minutes, not the maximum, so I loved that I could soak for as long as I wanted. I didn’t feel any soapy residue when I was done.

  • pain relief. All in all, I’d say a two-hour soak (did I mention I love baths?) took my pain level from an 8 to a severe 3. While my cramps didn’t completely go away, the moisturizing formula (with magnesium, omega-6 GLA, amino acids, and B vitamins) calmed any tingling, muscle soreness. I’m also happy to report that the pain hasn’t returned at all this month since my first use, and I’ve felt less. I don’t know how much I can attribute this to the actual product versus the two-hour hot bath, but either way, I felt the effects.

  • smell The fragrance of this moisturizer has notes of violet flowers, tea and incense. It wasn’t very strong, but it was strong enough to calm my mind and body and filled my bathroom with a pleasant scent.

  • Purity. I tried many bath bombs and soaks, but always hatred cleaning after that. There is always a thin layer of residue that I have to wash off afterwards, but thankfully I haven’t experienced that at all with Flewd. My bath had zero residue and was easy to wash after I was done. It should also be noted that since I have a heavier flow than usual, I made sure to use the toilet before I started wetting myself.
