Winner of the 2026 IFBB Pittsburgh ProMichal “Krizo” Kryzanek is known for his muscular looks on stage, but he’s currently using his pin-up strength as he builds up to the Mr. Olympia 2026 finals. And, in a recently released video, the Slovakian bodybuilder showed off his insane leg strength while leaving everyone in the gym.
Three months after the most prestigious show in bodybuilding, Krizo gathers for his shine in Las Vegas. “Seasonal weekend,” he explained in an Instagram video that showed the epic effort he was putting on an oversized smith machine.
Performing a deep squat during the negative phase, Chryso was then able to break down his quads, hamstrings, adductors, and core while engaging multiple weighted plates. “Save some muscle for others,” wrote one IG follower when Kryzanek repeated it.

Bodybuilding fans will be excited to see Criso’s progress as he is on his way back from his debut appearance in the Open category at the 2023 Mr. Olympia event, where he placed seventh. Since then, the powerhouse has topped the 2025 British Pro Grand Prix and this May’s Pittsburgh Pro, stamping his ticket to Sin City so he can share the stage with current Mr. Olympia Derek Lunsford.

How Krizo Builds Massive Quads and Hamstrings
After exhausting his legs with those very heavy smith exercises before work, Krizo continued to use machines to isolate his muscles and reduce the load on his stabilizing muscles. The elite bodybuilder will push his quads and, to a lesser extent, his calves, while the legs (either standing or lying down) hit the hamstrings, hamstrings, and calves for an effective leg workout.
While the calves are not the target muscles in these exercises, expect them to feel the burn from using the set. To successfully complete this session, aim for a weight that you can lift for 8 to 12 reps and do 3 sets of repetitions to suppress hypotrophy.
