A few years ago I realized that the ancient Greeks had a different time than most of us today. They had two gods of time: Chronos and Kairos.
Chronos measures time in days or hours; Kairos measured time not as a quantity but as a quality. Remember that short vacation, the weekend you spent in a foreign place or country and how, when you came back, you thought you were away for two weeks? Time seemed to expand because of the new experiences you had.

Compare how much time your weekend seems like if you have a boring, pointless job!
Then I realized that modern industrial man is left-brained. Everything important can be measured. If it cannot be measured, it is insignificant. So we develop amazing technical intelligence and look at the measurement of everything, but ignore the vital importance of everything else, which is not measurable, but based on quality, which is very much the domain of the right-hand brain.
When we consider happiness, honesty, anger, compassion, love, hate, sadness, and ambition, all these qualities of emotions and feelings are the essence of our lives, but they tend to be neglected as technology advances.
This insane technological advancement has dehumanized mankind and caused a lot of anxiety, depression and misery. We are now seeing the impact this has on our children’s health and well-being, and we need to find ways to engage our right brain even more.
By valuing the intangible and minimizing the material, the “perfect man” can be described as a perfect balance between the right and left sides of the brain, so that when necessary he can be analytical and highly methodical while maintaining a sense of integrity.
Extreme examples can be seen for all of us now, with Elon Musk, the world’s first trillionaire, the power of the wisdom and power of each human being to use this power for the benefit of humanity, and at the other end of the scale we see billions of people suffering from hunger and countless sufferings that have been exacerbated by war, famine and disease. modern left brain world!
How balanced are the hemispheres of your brain?
