In episode 284 threat podcast, host Dennis James is joined by Chris Cormier and Milos Sarsev to share their predictions for the 2026 New York Pro.
The New York Pro is a longtime standout the way to the Olympics and in the open division, a win means an entry to the Mr. Olympia finals in Las Vegas this September. Last year, Nick Walker was the story of the New York Pro, winning the competition for the third time in a much improved form and a huge boost to his Olympic campaign.
However, according to the recording of episode 284, Walker’s participation was unlikely. Some reports suggest the big man is after the Arnold Classic instead of focusing on his recovery, but there’s always a chance he could make a surprise entry this weekend.

Host Dennis “The Menace” James was the first panelist to predict the top 5 positions:
- Tonio Burton (USA)
- Michal Krizanek (Slovakia)
- Rafael Brandao (Brazil)
- Patrick Moore (USA)
- Barakat Awodhibou (Ireland)
Chris Cormier 2026 New York Pro Top 5:
- Michal Krizanek (Slovakia)
- Tonio Burton (USA)
- Rafael Brandao (Brazil)
- Patrick Moore (USA)
- Barakat Awodhibou (Ireland)
Milosh Sartsev 2026 New York Pro Top 5:
- Michal Krizanek (Slovakia)
- Tonio Burton (USA)
- Rafael Brandao (Brazil)
- Nathan Epler (USA)
- Patrick Moore (USA)
With two out of three votes going to Slovakia’s Michal Krizanek, Milos Sarchev explained that it could all come down to “crazy conditioning” in the end. The mind felt that if Kryzanek could take the stage and dominate with his trademark sheer size, he could “conquer form monsters.”
