Safe Uses of Turmeric – WellBeing Magazine

Try this recipe for Turmeric Belly Gum: a delicious, anti-inflammatory remedy that supports gut health and soothes inflammation.

If you’re looking for a gentle and delicious way to soothe your tummy and support your overall digestive health, these turmeric belly gummies are a must. With vibrant and exotic turmeric as the star, you get more than just its sunny color; this spice supports antioxidant defenses, helps the body manage inflammation, and may even play a supporting role in weight maintenance.

Ginger, turmeric’s botanical cousin, also joins the mix, bringing its ability to ease discomfort, calm inflammation, and boost your body’s natural defenses. You will often find me adding to both food, drinks and tonics. I find that any ingredient can relieve pain and curb hunger naturally, and many of my clients are looking for simple spices that they can add to their meals.

Making these plants couldn’t be easier. A dash of black pepper is included to unlock the full benefits of turmeric, thanks to how it helps your body absorb more curcumin. Raw honey softens the edges, balancing out any pepperiness or earthy bitterness. If your taste is sweeter, a drizzle of your favorite natural sweetener works beautifully – I generally use raw honey.

These gummies are a real treat for all ages. Kids love the fun shapes and soft, sweet flavor that makes picking up something healthy feel like a treat rather than a chore. Adults will appreciate that this rubber is easy on the hand.

For health enthusiasts, this means no more swallowing giant capsules or messing around with powders, and the combination of comforting and familiar spices means they fit into family routines.

Easy to make, satisfying to eat, and suitable for almost everyone, these gummies turn everyday goodness into a moment of joy.

Turmeric Tummy Gummies

Makes: about 12 gummies.

Fun Tip: Pour your liquid mixture into fun molds for extra flair.

1/4 cup of warm filtered water

2 tbsp grass gelatin powder

250 ml of coconut milk

1 tbsp ground turmeric

1 tsp ground ginger

A few cracks of black pepper

3 tbsp raw honey, taste

Pour warm filtered water into a mixing bowl and sprinkle gelatin evenly over it. Set aside for a few minutes to allow it to form a gel (“bloom”).

In a small bowl, mix coconut milk, turmeric, ginger, black pepper and honey. Heat gently, but do not let it boil, while stirring until thoroughly mixed.

Slowly pour the flavored coconut mixture into your bloomed gelatin, beating as you beat the lumps.

If you want a very smooth liquid, strain the liquid, then pour it into silicone molds or lined pans.

Place the dish in the refrigerator for about 3 hours, or until it turns brown. If using pan, cut into cubes after firming.

Store gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They are best eaten within 1 week.

Enjoy these Turmeric Tummy Gummies as a daily treat for a happy, relaxed gut and a burst of mild spice.
