Rockville, MD (April 7, 2026) – Following the conclusion of its most recent awards cycle, the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) Foundation (ASNF) is issuing a special, time-limited call for nominations to support new and returning awards opportunities in the field of nutrition.
This additional challenge is emphasized by the opening ceremony Sylvia Rowe Award for Excellence in Food Science Communicationestablished to recognize Sylvia Rowe’s significant contributions to the field and ASN. The bell also indicates its return Herbalife Nutrition Scholarship after a two-year hiatus, along with a selection of additional awards open for nomination.
The awards are recognized at the ASN Annual Meeting, Nutrition 2026July 25 – 28 in Harbor Mill, Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC, where a global community of researchers, clinicians, educators, industry leaders and policymakers will gather to advance evidence-based nutrition.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, May 18, 2026. All nomination materials must be submitted electronically via email. Portal of ASN Foundation.

Self-nominations are accepted as well as nominations from other nutrition professionals. Please note that certain rewards have additional requirements that are specified in their descriptions. Prize winners will be notified by June 1, 2026.
