Outstanding scholars will be honored at NUTRITION 2026, July 25-28 in National Harbor, MD.
The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) and the ASN Foundation are proud to announce the 21 members who will be inducted into the Class of 2026 Distinguished Fellows. Induction as an ASN Distinguished Fellow is the Society’s highest honor, recognizing individuals for their significant contributions and outstanding lifetime achievements in the field of nutrition.
“This year’s honorees have transformed nutrition science through groundbreaking research, visionary leadership, and a steadfast commitment to advancing health worldwide,” said ASN President, Naima Mustaid-Moussa, PhD, DFASN, FTOS, FAHA, FNAI.

Class of 2026 ASN Distinguished Fellows will be honored during Dear Friends, 50 Year Members and Past Presidents Luncheon July 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at the ASN Annual Meeting, Nutrition 2026. Members of this year’s class join more than 500 other ASN Distinguished Scholars who have been recognized since the program’s inception in 1952.
