How do you do a hanging tennis ball leg raise?

Sitting under a bar, you place a weight plate over your feet and a tennis ball balances on top of it. Then, grab the bar with both hands and raise the hanging leg, keeping the legs straight so that the ball does not fall off the edge.

To complete the challenge, you’ll need to hang onto the bar and move your legs and feet to get the ball into the center hole of the weight plate. This full-body workout fires up the core as it tries to stabilize the whole process. “It was incredibly difficult and it took me a lot of effort,” Werburn said. “So I couldn’t leave out the bloopers.”

What muscles does the Ab Challenge tennis ball work?

There is no place to hide your abs because they are involved in keeping the body straight and correcting the angle of the plate. Your inner core and flanks are still closed twisting and turning of the body. In addition, the hip flexors, forearms and wrists are also taxed. Additionally, your lats and shoulders will be critical to the body’s suspension process. Expect your quads to work as well, as they help steer directly from under the plate.
