Lead NHS consultant cardiologist Dr Asim Malhotra says Burnham is a great politician who knows best how to save the NHS, restore trust in healthcare and tackle Britain’s chronic disease crisis.
Ahead of Makerfield’s by-election on Thursday, an exclusive interview is available with NHS consultant cardiologist and best-selling author Dr Asim Malhotra, who has endorsed Andy Burnham as the ideal political figure to reform the NHS and tackle Britain’s growing chronic disease crisis.
Dr. Malhotra, who has testified before the United States Senate on chronic disease, medical transparency and public trust in health care, says Burnham has shown the “leadership, courage and insight” needed at a defining moment in health care.
