Yemen joins Iran war, threatens Saudi oil shipments - Oil prices rise again, threatening global economy

The stakes in the Iran war have risen significantly in recent days as Yemen’s Ansarullah (Houthis) bombed a key Saudi Aramco oil facility, effectively shutting down traffic through the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf.

I’m including two video reports here today that provide a great overview of the current situation without corporate media hype.

The first interview is from last night with Professor Seyed Marandi, who actually lives in Tehran and has inside information, and the second report from Transition protocol with ex-CIA agent Larry Johnson, Pepe Escobar and Zulfikar Ali, which aired hours before this article was published today, Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Marandi reiterates that there is currently no military solution for the US or Saudi Arabia. He believes that the Trump administration is looking for a passive side, while acknowledging that they could also resume bombing at any moment and follow through on their threats to target key Iranian infrastructure.

However, from Marandi’s point of view, this is giving Iran the green light to start bombing US bases in the Persian Gulf again, and the infrastructure of the Gulf states, such as water treatment plants, as well as bombing their ports, making it impossible to export their oil.

Iran still hopes that the Gulf countries will stop supporting the American military bases in their countries, because America cannot save them.

In Transition protocol Larry Johnson exposes the ad from earlier this week in which Trump promised to help Saudi Arabia build a nuclear power plant, reminding everyone that the US has only built 2 nuclear power plants in the past 26 years (one of which was 30 years late), while Russia has built about 60 and China may have built more during that time.

China has a lot of investment in Saudi Arabia, and it seems that Saudi Arabia will see that the only way forward is to work with China, not with America, which not only cannot protect them from Iran’s missiles, but also cannot protect them from their neighbors in Yemen, because they make these planes and missiles for pennies compared to America.

Saudi Arabia runs out of options, and one thing that none of these videos discuss is that Saudi Arabia has been investing in US Big Tech and AI for the past few years and is being used as leverage in the AI bubble, just like US Big Tech.

Keep an eye on the markets this week as Trump may be the trick to keep it going now as the AI bubble gets closer to bursting and at the same time the prices of diesel and other petroleum products continue to rise as we head into what could soon be a total economic collapse.
